Gerhard Blickle is a faculty member and full professor at the University of Bonn in Germany. He is a work and organizational psychologist who conducts research concerning (1) job performance, (2) interpersonal influence and social skill in vocational life, and (3) personality features at work.
Early Life and Educational Background
Blickle was born on February 3, 1959, in Rosenfeld, Württemberg, Germany. He earned his B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, in 1987. Then he worked in research projects, practiced in Human Resource Management, and worked for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, still a leading national newspaper in Germany. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Heidelberg in 1993 under the direction of Norbert Groeben.
Professional Career
