David Bjorklund is an evolutionary developmental psychologist and Professor of Psychology at Florida Atlantic University.

Introduction

David Bjorklund was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1949. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1971 from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He continued his education by earning his Master of Arts from The University of Dayton in 1973. He earned his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology in 1976 from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. After earning his Ph.D., Dr. Bjorklund joined the faculty of Florida Atlantic University. He has also served as a visiting professor at several prestigious institutions – including Emory University, The University of Georgia, James I University, and the Max Planck Institute for Psychological Research.
