Introduction

Dr. Rolland is a practicing psychiatrist, an AAMFT-approved supervisor, and an Executive Director for the Chicago Center for Family Health. He has written numerous articles and books on the intersectionality of family processes, culture, belief systems, and chronic health conditions.

Career

Dr. Rolland received his training in medicine and psychiatry from the University of Michigan and Yale University and earned a master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. He cofounded the Chicago Center for Family Health (CCFH) and the Center for Illness in Families associated with Yale University. Currently, Dr. Rolland works as the Executive Co-Director of the CCFH and as Adjunct Professor at Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. He currently serves on the Editorial Boards for the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, Family Process, and Families, Systems, and Health.
