PREPARE/ENRICH Program

Introduction

The PREPARE/ENRICH program has two components: a customized couple inventory and a skill-building program for premarital and married couples. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital and marital counseling and education, and more than 100,000 professionals (including marital and family therapists, social workers, clergy, psychologists, and other counseling professionals) have been trained and use the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment and program. This is because PREPARE/ENRICH is an efficient, reliable, and valid assessment of a wide range of interpersonal, personality, couple, and family characteristics. Over 4 million couples have benefited from the program, which includes 3.5 million couples from the United States and half a million couples from ten other countries.
