Introduction
Michele Weiner-Davis, LCSW is internationally known as a relationship expert. She is a solution-focused marriage therapist, best-selling author, and professional speaker. She has authored eight books and was awarded AAMFT’s Outstanding Contribution to Marriage and Family Therapy in 2001. She has also made numerous appearances on shows like Oprah, 20/20, The Today Show, and many more.
Career
Michele Weiner-Davis earned a master’s degree in social work from Kentucky University in 1977. She began her career in private practice working with couples on improving their relationships. In the 1980s she began working with Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg and joined the team at the Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Weiner-Davis’ first book, Divorce Busting, was published in 1992. Over the years she has written several more books and opened two Divorce Busting Centers located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Boulder, Colorado. These centers...
