Definition

School technology leadership and strategic educational management are defined on this section as specific conditions for the successful integration of technology from a school-level perspective. When considering these conditions, it is possible to study the interaction with external authorities and organizations at local, district, and national levels. From an organizational and situational perspective, technology leadership can be defined as a distributed practice for setting the vision of ICT integration; as an institutional attribute, it refers to the allocation of conditions to foster educational innovation on different domains. On the other hand, strategic educational management refers to a participatory practice in which organizational complexity is tackled through governability, collaboration, and a shared vision.
