Definition

Periodic non-streamlined crests carved into cohesive material and oriented transverse to prevailing wind.

Description

Layered stratigraphy is exposed from troughs to crests of PBRs with mean wavelengths of 20–50 m (Montgomery et al. 2012) (Figs. 1 and 2).
