Madalait Corona displays type 1 lineament characteristics (Stofan et al. 2001), with representative major circumferential structures consisting of both extensional (dashed) and compressional (solid) lineaments mapped to draw attention to the system’s geometry. Northwest of the corona is an elevated belt characterized by numerous smaller calderas and other downsag features that each exhibits pronounced circumferential deformation
