n (1816) Obtained from the seeds of the species, Brassica. It is a nondrying oil, the main constituent acid being erucic acid, with smaller amounts of oleic and linoleic acids. Sp gr, 0.915/15°C; iodine value, 92; saponification value, 173. Known also as Colza Oil.
