n Linseed oil, and sometimes soya oil, which has been treated in any of the following ways: (a) Heated for a short time to slightly increase viscosity and shorten drying time; (b) Heated with compounds of lead and/or cobalt and/or manganese forming fatty acid salts of the metal(s), thus shortening the drying time; (c) By adding soluble driers with or without heating.
