The Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) is an international network of civil society organizations working to influence and implement disaster risk reduction policies and practice around the world. It relies on the commitment, diversity of skills, knowledge, and extensive reach of its membership at all levels (particularly local) across virtually every region of the world. Members work for a broad range of organizations including large national and international NGOs, local or community-based organizations, and academic and/or research institutions. Many within the Network serve on their own national and regional networks, alliances, and associations.
