A public foundation located on the grounds of the boroque castle Schloss Solitude near Stuttgart, the Akademie Schloss Solitude operates an international artist program awarding live/work fellowships to artists (architecture, the visual arts, the performing arts, design, literature, music/sound and video/film/new media), emerging scholars, scientists, and professionals. Hundreds of fellows from more than 70 countries have used the Akademie to realize and advance their work and projects.
