The African Network of Scientific and Technological Institutions (ANSTI) is an organ of co-operation that embraces institutions engaged in the fields of science and technology. To date it has 126 member institutions in 33 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
ANSTI/DAAD Postgraduate Fellowships
Subjects: Basic and engineering sciences.
Purpose: To enable students to pursue Master’s and PhD courses in the basic and engineering sciences.
Eligibility: Open only to African nationals who are staff members of ANSTI member institutions. Applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s degree and must be below 36 years of age.
Level of Study: Doctorate, Postgraduate
Type: Fellowship
Value: Varies (approx. US$12,000)
Length of Study: Varies (approx. 1.5 years)
Frequency: Annual
Study Establishment: ANSTI member institutions
Application Procedure: Applicants must complete an application form, available by contacting ANSTI by mail, fax or email, or by visiting our website.
