The A-T Children’s Project is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support and co-ordinate biomedical research projects, scientific conferences and a clinical centre aimed at finding a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia, a lethal genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, as well as cancer and immune system problems.

The A-T Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

Subjects: Although basic science grant proposals are welcome, our funding efforts are focused on translational (bench to bedside) research, clinical studies and proposals that apply innovative and novel strategies for suggesting, developing and evaluating specific disease-modifying and symptomatic interventions.

Purpose: To accelerate first rate, international research on ataxia-telangiectasia to help find life-improving therapies or a cure for children with A-T.

Eligibility: Open to postdocs with academic excellence and with one year experience or less post degree. Applicants must be nominated for this award by their principal investigator (PI). Any interested PI who would like to nominate a new postdoc for the A-T Postdoctoral Fellowship Award must send a Letter of Intent to the A-T Children’s Project. This letter (not to exceed 2 pages) should include a brief abstract describing the proposed research, specific aims and an estimated budget.

Ataxia-Telangiectasia Children’s Project Research Grant
