1 Definition

EORTC QLQ-30 Quality of Life Questionnaire includes 30 items grouped into five quality of life categories: physical, social, emotional, cognitive and role performance; three scales of symptoms: fatigue, pain and nausea and vomiting; a global scale of quality of life and individual items related to the symptoms of the disease and its treatment; dyspnea, insomnia, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea and an item on economic impact. The responses to the scale items refer to “last week,” with the exception of the patient's physical performance scale, where the timeframe involved is the present.
