Common Risk/Health Factor Approach
An approach that can be characterized by not being focused on a single disease but on the improvement of health conditions for the whole population. A variety of common chronic diseases including oral diseases have risk and health factors in common. An example is smoking that affects heart disease, cancer and oral diseases. On the other hand, a healthy diet promotes both general and oral health.
