Guangwushan-Nuoshuihe National Geopark, Sichuan

This geopark is located in Nanjiang County and Tongjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. It has an area of 362 km2, and it became a geopark in 2009. Its main geological features are karst landforms, gorges, and mountain and water landscapes. The gorges in the geopark are composed of limestone and granite. The longest is more than 10 km long, while the shortest ones are 3–5 km long. The park also has marvellous water features, such as rapids, waterfalls and plunge pools. Deep streams are common and are mostly found in the granite area.
