Broadly speaking, a greenway is a linear corridor that connects natural open space. It consists of natural corridors that stretch along rivers, valleys and ridgelines or linear open space along artificial corridors, such as abandoned railway lines, ditches, and scenic roads, used for recreational activities, including natural and artificial landscape routes for cyclists and people. It is an open space that connects parks, nature reserves, famous areas, historical sites, and other places with the densely populated areas.
