Fourth Group of National-Level Scenic Areas

On May 17, 2002, the State Council announced an additional 32 national-level scenic areas. Among them, Chongqing Furong River Scenic Area is one of a series of world natural heritage sites known as ‘South China Karst’, the Beijing Shihua Cave Scenic Area is part of the Fangshan Global Geopark, and Xingwen Shihai Dongxiang National Park has been designated as one of the second group of global geoparks.
