With readily available natural resources, a geopark is an excellent venue for conducting environmentally friendly education activities. Environmental concepts, particularly geological conservation, can be introduced through activities directly organised by the geopark or jointly with schools or other organisations. Through these activities, participants learn the importance of protection and conservation, methods and skills of appreciation and caring for nature and related regulations and laws of protection.
