This is a type of ecosystem in a natural scenic area. These systems can be categorised into terrestrial ecosystems and aquatic ecosystems. Terrestrial ecosystems can be further subdivided into forest, grassland, agricultural and urban ecosystems based on the vegetation distribution. Aquatic ecosystems can be subdivided into marine, lacustrine and wetland ecosystems.
