The economic efficiency of tourism is the relation between the quantity of productive elements being occupied, used or consumed and the amount of output under the conditions that tourism resources are rationally exploited and the environment is being protected. When expressed in terms of value, it is a comparison between the production cost and the income of tourism products. This comparison can only be made when a tourism product has value and can meet the market demand.
