Dalian (Liaoning) Bingyugou National Geopark is located in the northern part of Xianrendong Town, 49 km from Dalian City. It was included by the Ministry of Land and Resources in the fourth group of national geoparks in August 2005. It contains more than 70 geosites scattered throughout five scenic areas. With a geological landscape dominated by Proterozoic quartzite, this geopark contains typical pillar-like quartzites, quartzite caves, rivers (a cruise service is available) and ancient glaciers.
