Dali Mount Cangshan National Geopark is located in the area bordering Dali, Yangpi and Eryuan in the Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan. In August 2005, it was approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources as one of the third group of national geoparks. Cangshan mainly has remnants of Quaternary glaciers, metamorphic relics, tectonic features, hybrid granite peaks, forest landscapes, gorges, streams, waterfalls and marble landscapes. Huadian Dam has karst landforms and alpine meadows. Canyon landforms dominate the Baizhangyan Bridge and the Shimenguan Pass.
