This geopark is located in Qibainong and Bansheng villages in the Dahua Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It became a national geopark in 2009. Its main geological features are karst peaks and clusters, depressions, gorges, caves and water landscapes. The park contains 2,566 deep and shallow depressions; with an average of 5.28 depressions per km2, the area is the world’s densest cluster of depressions. Banlan Gorge, which has steep slopes and high peaks, is dangerous to hike. The Disu underground stream has 15 tributaries and can be considered a super underground stream.
