Cultural geography is a branch of geography that studies the temporal and spatial changes in cultural features and their relationships to environmental factors. By focusing on the interactive relationship between the cultural and geographical environments, it studies the role of the natural geographical environment on cultural development as well as the influence of human cultural effects on the natural geographical environment. It is one of the areas of human geography.
