Crystal Face

A crystal face is a flat surface that bounds a crystal during the crystal growth process. A crystal face is essentially a smooth and flat plane, but in detail, there are a variety of crystal surface patterns with irregular shapes. The crystal face is essentially the outermost layer of the lattice.
