The China Stone Forest Karst Research Results Report Meeting was held in Changsha, Hunan Province, on 21–25 November 2008. It was organised by the Chinese Academy of Tourism Earth Science and Geopark Research, Geological Society of China. Eleven global comparison sub-topic task groups from Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, Hebei and Henan participated, and Anze Chen presided. The task groups reported on their research results and organised different sub-topic landform and landscape photo exhibitions. An expert group composed of the academicians Yaoru Lu, Shouyue Zhang, Zhijiu Cui and Mingzhong Tian was formed to review the results. ‘China Stone Forest Karst Landscape Research Results’ was published by Science Press in 2011.
