Zhenzhi Yang (1965–) is a native of Chongqing City. He is a professor at the Tourism College of Sichuan University, a doctoral tutor, a committee member of the Chinese Academy of Tourism Earth Science and Geopark Research, Geological Society of China, and director of the China Leisure and Tourism Research Centre at Sichuan University. He is also the chairman of the listed Veni Corp, which includes the Chengdu Tourism Planning and Development Corp, Beijing Veni Tourism Corp and Chengdu Veni Architectural Design Corp. He has presided over 160 national scenic areas tourism planning projects. His works include ‘Tourism Resources Development and Planning’, ‘Tourism Project Planning’, ‘Tourism Original Planning’, ‘Tourism Development and Its Impact on Social Culture in the Tibetan Areas of the Eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, ‘Scenic Area Upgrade and Service Quality Management’, ‘Coordination of Urban-Rural Development and Rural Tourism’, and ‘Cultural Memory of Sceneries’.
