This park is located in Wulong County, Chongqing, along the lower reaches of the Wujiang River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. It became a national geopark in 2004. The geopark is composed of two districts with distinctive karst landforms, caverns, tiankengs, arches, vertical shafts and wells, gorges, ground joints, pinnacles, stalactites and stalagmites, clusters of peaks, peak forests, underground streams and hot springs. There are four major attractions for visitors: the Furong Cave Group, Wulong Natural Arch, Wulong Zhongshiyuan Tiankeng, and Wulong Tianxing Shaft Group.
