Volcanic Mineral Spring

This is a spring in a volcanic area that is rich in minerals. Based on the mineral composition, these springs can be divided into bicarbonate springs, silicon springs, strontium springs, barium springs, iron springs and radon springs. Volcanic mineral spring water is potable. Some springs are effective for curing rheumatism, neurasthenia and high blood pressure. The Nanyao (South Medicine) Spring in Wudalianchi is a cold spring of iron, bicarbonate, strontium and silicon. Its spring water can be used for medicinal use and for consumption (Fig. 13).
