Volcanic Explosion

A volcanic explosion is a phenomenon in which volcanoes erupt in a violent manner under certain conditions. It is a process of rapid energy release. This energy can be either from highly compressed gas in the magma or from vapour generated when magma or magmatic heat comes into contact with water.
