This is a kind of pot-like landscape composed of circular and hemispherical concave depressions and pits of various sizes on the cave wall and cave roof. The ceiling pot diameters range from less than 2 cm to several tens of metres. These pots often appear in dense groups, and the pot depth and width are usually approximately equal, but the width is sometimes greater. The cross-section is generally symmetrical. The cause of ceiling pot formation is complex. They can form due to corrosion and the combination of corrosion, water erosion, water abrasion, drip erosion, and even the biokarst action (Fig. 20).
