Tourism ecology is the study of the interaction and mutual influence between tourism elements (including the six tourism elements, tourism activities, tourism exploitation, and management of tourist destinations) and the natural environment. Tourism ecology studies the composition, structure, management and optimization methods of tourism in relation to ecology and provides theoretical support for the sustainability of tourism.
