Tourism Community

A tourism community is a community with a shared interest as a tourist destination that usually consists of local residents, tourists, businessmen and administrators. Members of such communities include not only people working in the tourism industry but also those in other occupations. Together, they bear the positive and negative effects of tourism on the economy, society, culture, and environment. A tourism community is a regional social unit that forms in a certain area over a long period of time around a tourist attraction.
