Tourism channels are the routes and links between tourist source areas and destinations. A channel refers to spatially defined tourist traffic routes, such as roads that connect transportation hubs, hotels and tourist destinations. Some of the roads in tourist regions are the main entrances to tourist destinations. Tourism markets will expand unequally along tourism channels in different directions.
