Suiyang Shuanghedong Cave National Geopark is located in Suiyang, Zunyi, Guizhou. It was approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources as one of the third group of national geoparks in 2004. Its unique features include karst caves and associated landforms. Except for the area from Mount Taiyangshan and Mount Jinlinshan to Qianhegou Village, which have experienced tectonic erosion, most of the areas are karst peak clusters, depressions and valleys with caves, blind valleys, skylights, underground rivers, vertical shafts and other landforms. There are many karst caves, including gypsum caves, water curtain caves and caves called Osmanthus (or Dafeng), Mountain King, Luojiao, Lianwang, Fir Forest and Arahant. Each cave has distinctive features. There are also springs rich in sulphur, iron, zinc, and radon.
