A spring is a natural feature where groundwater flows from an aquifer to the Earth’s surface. It is called the spring landscape tourism resource when it has ornamental, drinking and therapeutic value and can be used as a tourism resource. Based on the type of flow, springs can be classified into rising springs (also known as pressure springs) and dropping springs. Based on the consistency of the flow, springs can be categorised as intermittent springs and pulsating springs. According to the water temperature, springs can be divided into cold springs, warm springs, hot springs and super-heated gas springs. Based on drinking standards, springs can be categorised as mineral springs (mineral water for potable use) and medical springs (for drinking and bathing).
