Shoushan National Mining Park, Fujian

This park is located in the northern part of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It covers an area of 202 km2 and became a mining geopark in 2005. The park can be divided into five areas, namely, Shoushan, Rixi, Hung Hom, Lingtou and Guihu. The main feature is the Shoushan Stone Mine Relics, which showcase the original site of the ‘Shoushan Stone’ and ‘Hot Spring’ in Fuzhou. The mining park has a historical mine shaft that is more than 300 m wide. It also contains the China Shoushan Stone Pavilion, Shoushan Stone Ancient Street, Shoushan Stone Cultural Square, Tianhuang Treasure Creek, a man-made lake and other tourist attractions.
