The happy places listed in the Taoist books mainly imply fairylands controlled by immortals, and these places are second behind the big caves. The seventy-two happy places listed below come from the book ‘Map of Heaven and Earth Palaces’ by the Taoist Sima Chengzhen of the Tang Dynasty:
