The sea-land breeze is a wind system with a 1-day cycle caused by the difference between the day and night heat distributions over the sea and land. During the day, the wind blows from the sea to the land; at night, the wind blows from the land to the sea. The former is called the sea breeze, and the latter is called the land breeze; collectively, they are called the land and sea breezes.
