Business tourism is the tourism undertaken for business purposes. It is one of the fastest growing types of tourism in recent years. Since 1990s, with the economic recovery of industrialised countries, the global economic integration and the loosening of border restrictions, economic activities and transnational technological cooperation between countries have become increasingly integrated with international business tourism. According to statistics, global business tourists account for approximately one-third of the total tourism activities.
