This geopark is located between the cities of Limerick and Galway on the western coast of Ireland. It became a global geopark in 2011. The landscape of the cliffs is formed by a limestone hill and ridge that connect the ocean and the waterways to form a vast network of underground caves. The key attraction is the Cliff of Moher. The park contains traces of human inhabitation from 6,000 years ago.
