This book was written by Anze Chen et al. and was published by Seismological Press in 2004. This book includes a selection of papers from the ‘China’s First Karst Tourism Earth Science Symposium’. It contains the basic theory of karst tourism resources, the development of karst cave tourism, examples of karst tourism resources and development in Chongqing and other regions of Sichuan, the current status and prospects of tourism development in China and overseas, and the five major aspects of the establishment of national geoparks. It is a representative work of karst tourism resources research in China.
