A brackish lake, also called a weakly mineralised lake, has a salinity of 1–35 g/L. Some consider brackish lakes to have salinities of 0.3–24.7 g/L or 1–24.7 g/L. Most brackish lakes are sulphate or chloride lakes and are inflowing and undrained lakes. An example is Qinghai Lake.
