Proceedings of the First International Symposium on Granite Geology and Geomorphology
This book was written and edited by Anze Chen et al. and was published in the 2007 ‘Geological Review’ supplemental edition. More than 20 papers were collected. The contents include a new theory on the formation of granite, a summary of granite in China, the formation and classification of granite landforms, examples of granitic geology and geomorphology research, and research on geopark establishment. Using the study of the Sanqingshan granite as an example, the geological and geomorphic features, rock ages, formations, geochemical characteristics and evolutionary history are discussed. It was the first research collection on granite landforms and scenery in China, and it has important reference value for granite landscape research and scenic area construction.
