This park is located in western Jiangxi Province and 5 km southeast of Pingxiang City. It is administered by the Anyuan District, Pingxiang City, and covers an area of 26.30 km2. It became a national mining park in 2010. The main mining features includes typical geological profiles of the deposits, geological structures and palaeontological heritage, prospecting remains and indicators, mine stopes, smelting fields, ventilation and lighting facilities and equipment from daily life. Revolutionary human and natural landscapes can also be found in the park, forming a comprehensive mining park that integrates rich content, prominent features, industrial history, scientific research, science popularisation and sightseeing.
