Physical geography is one of the two main branches of geography and is the study of the natural environment of the Earth’s surface. Its main focus is the natural environment that human beings rely on to survive and develop. The natural environment includes the lithosphere and soil, hydrosphere, biosphere and atmosphere. Physical geography is the study of the morphology, structure, function, spatial characteristics, formation and development of these zones as well as the interactions between them. The identification and analysis of natural geographical elements is the basis for conducting surveys of tourism resources and preparing tourism plans.
