Ninghai Wushan Seashore Grotto National Mining Park, Zhejiang

This park is located in Wushan Village and Yuelan Village, Changjie Town, Ninghai County, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, on the northern bank of Sanmen Bay in the East China Sea. The core area of the park covers approximately 2.30 km2. The mining park was accredited in 2010 by the Ministry of Land and Resources. It is a hilly area with a group of 14 caves, including Taoist Rock, Yishan Mountain (also known as Santang Mountain), Yiming Mountain (also known as Xiachang Mountain) and Lantou Mountain. The two cave groups at Zhoushan and Smart Mountain are the main scenic sites of the Wushan Grottoes and are among the most abundant and complete quarry caves along the coast of China. One cavern has an excavation of more than 100 m. Due to the magnificent variations, the waterscape of the rattan trees in the cave and the marine scenery outside the cave is dramatic.
