These are a kind of tourism earth science resource and play a dominant role. They are mainly composed of natural factors such as geology, geomorphology, meteorology, hydrology, and vegetation. Various types of landscapes are formed by lithospheric, hydrospheric, biospheric, atmospheric and cosmic factors. The factors affecting their formation include the geological and crustal structure, strata and rocks, geological dynamics, terrestrial hydrological characteristics and oceanic effects, climate latitude zoning and regional factors, biogeographic processes and their effects, and regional natural geographical environment factors. Due to the diversity of the formation conditions, the resulting landscapes and scenes are also complex. For example, Tianchi (or Heavenly Lake) at Changbai Mountain is a crater lake that was formed after a volcanic eruption.
